Video Quality

As you could see in the sample video the Amacam AM-M80 camera has 1080p quality is clear and crisp in the daytime. The one thing we noticed is the AM-M80 takes a bit of time to compensate for light level changes. In normal mostly sunny conditions the Amacam AM-M80 has good clear video. Night time use is okay in a city that well lit with street lights. The 120º viewing angle is adequate for this camera. Based on this viewing angle the front of the vehicle will be shown but not much of the sides.

Installation

The Amacam AM-M80 uses a suction cup to mount on the windshield behind the rear view mirror. It can be adjusted in any direction and any angle. This means any windshield angle or position can be accommodated. The supplied power cable is 12′ long so it should reach any power jack.

Verdict

This is one of the smallest cameras we have reviewed. The video quality is a good for this camera. The angle is wider at 120 degrees. If your budget is lower or this is your first camera it may be okay for you.
